Complex multi-point deliveries, recurring specialist logistics, or compliance-specific requirements. We design the solution around your operation.
Most courier companies treat sensitive deliveries like any other parcel. Ordnance Logistics exists because the military, medical, and legal sectors require something fundamentally different — a courier built around compliance, chain of custody, and the understanding that in these industries, a failed delivery has real consequences.
We are a specialist operation, not a generalist company with a premium label attached. Every driver is vetted. Every delivery is documented. Every client has a direct, named contact.
Every delivery generates a complete audit trail — timestamped, photographed, and signed at both collection and delivery. Available to you on request.
All drivers undergo enhanced DBS checks, induction training in confidentiality protocols, and carry their own insurance. No exceptions.
We operate a documented data handling policy. Client information, recipient details, and delivery records are stored securely and never shared.
You have a named contact. Not a call centre. Not a ticket system. When you need an update, you get one immediately.
Ordnance Logistics was founded with a single conviction: the sectors that carry the highest stakes — military, medical, and legal — deserve a courier built specifically for them. Not a generalist operation with a premium label attached, but a company whose entire model is designed around chain of custody, compliance, and accountability.
We operate lean, we operate precisely, and we hold ourselves to the same standard we promise our clients. Every delivery is treated as mission-critical — because for our clients, it often is.
Timed, documented, and verified. We do not approximate delivery windows or chain-of-custody records.
Every driver, every job, every client interaction is governed by strict confidentiality protocols.
You have a named contact. If something requires attention, it is addressed — not passed to a call centre.
GDPR-compliant data handling, DBS-vetted drivers, and documented procedures across all service tiers.
All Ordnance Logistics operations are underpinned by comprehensive insurance coverage and documented compliance procedures. For procurement teams and compliance officers, full policy documentation is available on request.
Covers third-party injury or property damage arising from our operations. Active across all Ordnance Logistics deliveries, at every service tier. Essential for working with NHS trusts, law firms, and government bodies.
Covers the items in our care from the point of collection to confirmed delivery. Protects clients against loss or damage during transport — a non-negotiable requirement for medical specimens, legal documents, and sensitive materials.
Covers claims arising from errors, omissions or negligent advice in the delivery of our services. Relevant for clients in regulated sectors where service failure carries professional or legal consequence.
Covers our obligations to the workforce engaged in delivery operations. All contractor drivers are required to hold their own hire-and-reward insurance as a condition of engagement with Ordnance Logistics.
Every white glove and premium delivery follows the same documented chain of custody process. This is not a guideline — it is the operational standard applied to every job, every time.
Client submits delivery details including collection address, recipient, item description, and any compliance requirements (e.g. timed delivery, identity verification on receipt, temperature sensitivity). A job reference is generated and confirmed in writing.
A vetted driver is assigned based on job requirements. The driver is briefed on any sector-specific protocols before collection. For classified or sensitive deliveries, the briefing includes confidentiality requirements and recipient verification procedure.
On arrival at the collection point, the driver confirms identity with the authorised handover contact, inspects the item(s) for pre-existing condition, and photographs the package before taking possession. A timestamped collection record is created at this point.
Items remain in the driver's sole custody for the duration of transit. Live tracking is active throughout. No item is left unattended in a vehicle. For medical specimens, packaging integrity is maintained per client specification. For legal materials, items are not unsealed or inspected beyond surface condition.
On arrival, the driver confirms the identity of the authorised recipient before releasing the item. Where required, photo ID is checked against the briefing record. A delivery photograph is taken and a signed receipt is obtained — digitally or physically depending on client preference.
A complete chain-of-custody report is compiled and sent to the client within one hour of delivery completion. The report includes: collection timestamp and confirmation, in-transit log, delivery timestamp, recipient confirmation, and all photographic records. Reports are retained securely for 12 months.
